Responsibilities:
- Perform the following essential functions:
- Conduct necessary assessments for identifying skill gaps
- Determine the learning scope and the required solutions with the application of a methodical instructional design process
- Develop realistic and measurable learning objectives, engaging and learner-centered course contents, and interactive instructional materials
- Evaluate current processes and continuously design better procedures and approaches
- Perform other functions:
- Maintain strong connections with business leaders
- Secure all documentation and owned materials within the department’s shared drive
- Load learning content into the company LMS
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Available for emergency instructional activities
- Continuously research best eLearning practices
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of technical experience in learning program development, learning experience design, or instructional design
- A bachelor’s degree in design courses, related educational courses, or related corporate courses
- A master’s degree in design courses, related educational courses, or related corporate courses
- Certified in training and facilitation, instructional design (such as ATD Master Instructional Designer or Certified Professional in Talent Development), and Articulate 360
- Expert in Microsoft Office tools and authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia Studio
- Proficient in HTML and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop
